Default I realized something at the range the other day....

While getting ready for my trip to RSA I went to the range to shoot some new arrows. Knowing they were lighter I figures I would have to adjust my pins a bit.
After getting things set, I pulled out my back-up bow. This is an LX that I had not shot since I bought my Switchback a couple of years ago.
When I first started shooting the LX several years ago, I quicly fell in love with it. I shot 3D's every week and never shot better. I LOVED the bow.
One day I went to Ken Whitts place to have a rack scored for P&Y. While he was putting a tape to it I saw his Switchback. It was the first one I had seen, since they were just out. He handed me a release and an arrow and told me to take a shot. BIG mistake. When I released that first arrow I did not know what had just happened??? The feel was foriegn to me??? I looked over at Ken and he just smiled and went back to measuring. It had NO hand shock..... NONE!
I shot it again, and again, and again, and again...... and just could not figure this thing out?? Being an engineer I was amazed??
30 minutes later it took ken and two customers to pry it out of my hands! I placed my order before I left and wondered why on my way home.
Back to me realization...... When I shot the LX I could not believe what a junky bow it was..... this is the bow I LOVED!!!
I tell y'all..... this Switchback that I have been shooting for two years now is the best thing since sliced bread! I still dont know how they do it?
There may be other bows out there that are like it but this rig is a real winner!! NO comparison to my LX, Rival Pro, Conquest, Feather lite or any other bow I have shot over the last 35 years, starting with the one that started it all, the Allen Compound.
I still can not believe it!

every year when the new bows come out I think; well this is it, they have reached the max for speed, quality , hand shock ect. Then the next year they come out with some thing better. I know they have to so folks will buy a new bow but I know I would hate to have the job of coming up with a new design every year.
