Nope, no luck. They saw 2 deer total last night. And this morning it was misting rain and really cold. Tomme and biggen stayed in bed. Michael and Dad were gonna give it a try but didn't seem too hopeful. I haven't heard anything since about 8:15 this morning. I'll try to update if they text me later

Well I asked Michael if there was any news to report so I will just pass on what he said: "Yep, it's freezing, raining, and the deer are not as stupid as us!They stayed bedded down while we froze our behinds off in a tree." Soooo, I'm thinking it wasn't a good day!

Well I just got home from Nebraska and the weather kicked our butts. The first couple days it was hot with a south wind, a south wind is hard to hunt up there. The next couple days it was cold with a strong north wind 30 to 40 mph and raining. Not a lot of deer movement. We did see some shooters but no shots at bucks. Tomme did shoot a doe.
We had a great time and will be back next year ( booked before we left ).

Thanks to Angie and Jeff for posting for us and thank ya'll for playing along, it was fun.

Like Ronny said it was tough conditions to hunt but it was great fun and I always relish the opportunity to witness God's great beauty and this time the tree's did not disappoint!

Looks like the deer were there, just the luck was not with you. Bob
