9th Annual Hog Hunt

Feb. 28th - March 2nd, 2014

$300 Entry Fee per Team
Wild Hog Round-Up / Live Hog Hunt
4 Hog Stringer (1 Barr Limit )
Cash/prizes, Bonus Categories, and TDHA Buckles
Proceeds from hunt will contribute to our legal fund to help keep the liberties we have as dog hunters in the State of Texas and will benefit charitable organizations

Supporting a Worthy Cause

This is TDHA's live hog hunting event and we are excited to give hunters another opportunity to support a worthy cause. Proceeds from the sale of marketable caught hogs, to “approved buyers”, will go to help contribute to the TDHA Legislative Action Fund and various charitable organizations. The Legislative Action Fund will be used to help pay for lobbyist working on the behalf of ALL dog hunters in Texas. Without the support of our members and hunters participating in events such as this, TDHA would not have the resources to help the needy of our state AND keep the liberties we have as dog hunters in the State of Texas. We look forward to another successful hunting event this year and want to thank you ahead of time for your participation and support of this worthy cause!

Schedule of Events

Friday, Feb 28th: 3pm til 6:30pm – On-site sign up and registration for contest. Hog Hunting Tournament promptly begins at 5pm.

Saturday, March 1st: 9am til ? – TDHA Vendor set up and set up for weigh-in.
10am - Dog Parade Bench Show produced by Christie Michalcik of Hallettsville FFA, promoted by TDHA/LEA, sponsored by Texas Tire & Accessory of Hallettsville, TX.

Sunday, March 2nd: 9am til 12 noon – TDHA’s official weigh-in for the Wild Hog Round-Up. Come watch the teams officially weigh in their hogs and buyers compete to purchase hogs. Then stick around for the awards ceremony at 3pm.
