Millie and I looked at them right after they first came out and opted to stick with our SKB double-bow cases.

We were suspicious of the stability of the drop-bottom and how our compounds would hold up being tossed around. We travel to Canada annually and carry two bags each, one with our bows and equipment (arrows, releases, harnesses, thermacell - without fuel, rain gear etc); the other with our back packs, boots, regular clothes, camera arms, etc. The SKB weighs out around 35# stuffed, the drop bottom duffel tips in at just under 43#.

Video cameras, toiletries (meds), etc are handcarried.
