Default Building another Bowhunter part 2

After buying my Niece a Bow at the LSBA convention we went to work learning to shoot it and building the strength to shoot 40 pounds. after about a month of shooting everyday she was very consistent out to 30 yards. A week ago she told me she wanted to try to take an animal. We set up a hunt with one of our LSBA Sponsor members Hunt's Bowhunting. We spent hours looking at pictures and talking about shot placements and timing. I have the full story written up and hope to get it in the magazine but the condensed version is she preformed like a champ and made a beautiful shot at 20 yards. I'm not sure which one of us was the happiest but I was beside my self. I guess she is probably to old to call a kid but she will always be 10 to me.

That is a great pic of Whitney and her sheep. I am glad you got her to take her glasses off for at least one pic. You should include that one on the next rolling pic display.

Yeah, what Bryan said. I need a bow for my boy. He just doesn't seem interested in taking the trad route.

Just an outstanding prize for her hard work. Congrats to the NEW bowhunter and a happy uncle.

Buff, I figured that set up you described would work. I have seen lighter setups work as long as the arrows are flying good and they stay within a reasonable distance. Congrats again and keep up the good work recruiting more bowhunters.

Thanks Buff, I may have to let him give it a try this summer. See how it works out.
