wont be long now! cant wait to get to the hill country and try to call in some big ol gobblers. hopefully turkey season will be better that last deer season.
this is the only bird I got last year. (fall season) 9 1/2" beard 3/4 inch spurs. 17 yd shot. went maybe 10 yds before he gave it up.

I'm hopin to get a shot at a long beard in Sheridan. We've been seein a few turkeys over there the past few years. Maybe this will be the year!
