Default Where to begin?

Hey gang. Been a hunter all my life, but finially purchased my first bow last winter. It has been a dream of mine to hunt and shoot 3D for quite some time, and now I am getting there.

Is there any places to shoot 3D in the West Houston Area? Any place for a button buck to get some pointers and insite from an old stag?

Mudshack, Buffalo Field Archery has a big range down there. Mike Fitzgerald is a close to you and is full of....advice...among other things. He also has helped a lot fo other folks get started. Another person in the region is Brandon Hare who works at Gander Mountain in their archery area. You might ask for him by name.

Mudshack,

I am way up on the north side of town, but let me know if I can help in any way. I am an old stag...but not as old as tomme!

Mudshack,

Here is the link to their website:
http://www.buffaloarchery.com/

Hope this helps. I used to shoot there quite a bit, but rarely get out there to shoot anymore. There are some real good folks over there and usually are a handful of folks shooting after work willing to help out. ***Be SURE to bring your mosquito repellant, especially after a recent rain as it is in the Addicks watershed and they can be ferocious.
