I just pulled the bow down to check it. The separation lines are longer now then I thought they would be. On top limb of the bow on opposite sides of the riser.

I think if I tried to remove the camo paint, I might fill the separation lines and they would no longer be visible. So I will hold off on that project until the experts review the bow.

I also put home made sights on the bow. Remember, this is from the late '60s and most of you weren't even born at that time. The sights did work even though home made. I have always made most of my toys if I could. Still do today.

Hey Ed lets get Tomme to pull it back. I resemble that 60's remark!

I think you got a great idea Bowjunkie. I generally bring as much new stuff as I have accumulated that I don't use for raffle items, but haven't brought any almost new stuff. Sounds dooable to me

There are fixes to this depending on the degree area of seperation. A good look see at the banquet will help determine this. I know a few of us would be glad to take a look at it for you.

I think Biggen has a good idea on testing out the bow. We can sell tickets for viewing the exhibition and make a few more dollars that way. If Tomme doesn't blow it, then we sell tickets for others to test it.

Whoever makes it go bang, gets the remaining parts and half the monies from the testing pot. No dry fires. Just pull back to full draw.

I would pay to watch that.

Has anyone noticed beside me that Tomme has been absent from this thread? :?:

It is time to come out of hiding Tomme. We have a LSBA fund raising venture for you that will not cost you any funds this time. Maybe.

So what will you call it? The Presidential Assasination Pot? Gee guys I haven't even taken office yet and you're already trying to bump me off.

I think Fitzgerald's "almost new" rafle pot is a great idea. Might need to think this through if you get a bunch of items. For example, if there are 20 items to choose from maybe split them up into 3-4 cans so the top five tickets get to pick in each. Maybe after five, put what's left into one big pot and have either a one bid auction (i.e., you write your name and bid on a card, turnb it in and high bidder gets it all) or put the leftovers in the auction.

We are going to need some raffle items for the spring fellowship hunt too, so if you have several items, maybe split the items so as we can tap both potential groups.
