Default Volunteers Need for TTHA Show~Houston

This year we are going to have our Youth Archery Range and the 3-D Pop-up Shoot at the Texas Trophy Hunters show in Houston at Reliant Center. The LSBA is seeking volunteers to help on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 1-3. Volunteers will be furnished a pass to get into the show.

Show times are:

NEW HOURS!!!
Friday 3pm - 9pm
Saturday 9am-7pm
Sunday 10am-5pm

We need volunteers to help pull arrows at the Pop-up shoot. The volunteers at the Youth Archery Range will introduce kids to archery by assisting them in shooting at 3-D targets. This is a great opportunity to give back to archery and encourage others to get involved in the sport that we love.

If you would like to volunteer, please contace Dena Kana at denakana@gmail.com or (409) 739-2630. I will need to keep track of the volunteers, so that we can coordinate the passes.

Thanks!!!

I'll be there to work with the kids on Friday and Saturday. I'll be driving in from Ft. Worth so I won't be able to help on Sunday. Hope to see a bunch of you there.

We're running through there either Saturday evening or Sunday morning early on our way to Bama. I was thinking that if it were close, a block or 3, we'd stop in for a minute...

How much does it cost to come in and look around?

Thanks Brad.

Will the LSBA booth be very easy to find? Is it anything like the TPWD Expo?

We're planning on stopping by for maybe an hour or two on our way through Youston. Hope to see some of ya there.

Chew Crew, thank you so much for the help today! It was a pleasure working with you guys! We were extremely busy at both the Pop-up and Youth Archery Booth at the same time, so it was hard to cover both areas.

Bobby's Captain and his son also came out and helped with the youth archery shoot and Steven shot in the Pop-up! Thanks so much for getting involved and helping with the shoot!

BIG THANKS to all of our new members and the one that renewed at the shoot! Your support is appreciated!

I had numerous members stop by to say hi and it is always nice to put a face with a name!! Thank you!

We will be having Team Qualifications in the morning for the 3-D Pop-up Shoot. Team finals start at 1:30 and Individual Finals are beginning at 2:30.

Target-panic, the same goes here. Wished we could have visited longer, but our kids booth was non stop action so we had to rush through the show. The Ozonic looks like it is going to be a great product. Good luck at Ft. Worth. Bob

I would like to also THANK everyone that helped out at the kids archery booth as well and the Bowmasters 3-D shoot. Thanks to everyone that has already been mentioned and to Eddie Tanuz, his son Steven, and Joey Simone and Joey Jr. for helping out today. With out the volunteers, it would be very hard to put a bow in the hands of this many kids. Thanks again everyone. Bob
