Default 2 blade broadheads

I have a question. I'm not sure how to ask. I am interested in 2 blade for hogs for the most part. My question is do they work well with high speed bows? I mean do they lose control? Barrel roll I guess is what i am asking?

Some of the un vented ones like a Ziwicky have problems once you get over about 250 fps. The ones with vents such as a Stinger or German Kinetic should have no problems at all. A lot of folks that normally shoot mechanical heads for deer switch to a 2 blade for Africa or the big exotics here in the states.

I shoot Rage 2-blade for deer and hogs. They work freakin great.

I have never shot a 2 blade fixed head before.

I shoot 2 blade Magnus at 285 and they fly just as true as my field points. They are cheap at academy also.

Rage 2 blade broadheads work well for hogs. I shot 60 hogs this year with Rage 2 and 3 blade broad heads and the only one that I didn't find was the one I shot in the head and then had to watch my tracernock run off through the brush across the creek and out of sight. I never did find that hog or my arrow. I will not make that mistake again.

The fixed blades was what I was talking about..sorry..I was @ Cabela's & was looking at the buzz cuts & the dude behind the desk scared me when he told me they would fly funky out of a compound bow which confused me. Needless to say I put them down till I got a few more opinions from others that had shot them.. As far as the rage I am pretty much set on trying them out.
Thank you for the input

If the truth was told...the guy behind the counter most likely didn't have a clue what he was talking about

Well, I can't really answer the question having never owned a bow that would shoot over 250 fps....but have never had a 2 blade head fly badly.

With all broadheads you need to make sure they are aligned well on the shaft.....after that it should not be an issue

The only time I saw an arrow really barrelroll, I fleched one with both left and right wing feathers....now that will do it.

Kevin - Robby shot his buck with a 2 - blade. I think it was a B52....I guess they are pretty sharp. I have never heard of them before. His shot just barely clipped the heart. He ran pretty far but there was a really good blood trail. I think the shot was darn near too low. He shoots a compound bow...
