Default Feeders aren't running!

Here’s why. I took these around three species of oak, post oak, water oak and black jack oak. The post oak ground pictures are around one tree. Also note that they are still hanging in the trees too. No rain to help rot them either. I’m not sure the last time I saw a deer in the pastures. Our woods is about 98% oak with probably 85% post oak.

I feel your pain!!!! Our lease is nothing but big oak trees, they cut all the timber off of it last year and these things are really producing some acorns!!

I love to hunt the acorns, if I could just find the right tree.

LOL yeh with about 95% of our woods being oak it's a bit hard to decide on which one to hunt!

Bill, brother,i'm very frustated with hunting here in Brazos County,i've sit every morning and afternoon for 14 days straight and only seen 2 bucks in this time-a spike and a 9 pt...at gas being $3 a gal..i'm quitting for a couple of days.
I wish these acorns would quit fallin and we need some rain!!!
