Default Inspiration from Mr. Sackett's talk at the Banquet

Great thoughts by Mr. Sackett on sharing archery and bowhunting with others. Got me to thinking, and I had an idea for an LSBA hunt drawing that would encourage and reward new bowhunters and their mentors.

It could be a youth hunt, an adult hunt, or both. To be eligible for the drawing, a bowhunter would need to introduce archery and bowhunting to a friend or family member that had never bowhunted before. The mentor bowhunter would need to make sure that the novice learned how to shoot well enough to hunt (documented by a proficiency test). Maybe add a requirement that the novice - and the mentor - have taken a bowhunter's safety course?

Would something like that work?
