Default Got one on Fort Hood yesterday!

I got a good buck yesterday at 4:47pm.

This 8 point boy came in on my Primos Lil' Can bleats. I also hung a wick with some Tink's 69 from a tree that runs directly across the lane I shoot in.

I saw this guy through the cedars at 4:32pm and couldn't wait to see him in the clearing. It took him 15 minutes to move 20 feet. Up to the point of shooting this boy, my heart was pounding so hard I could hear it through my mouth when I would take a breath. Any of you guys have that experience before?????LOL It was great! Buck fever, and it was my first time having it.

At 4:47pm, (in my Double Bull Matrix) once he stepped out into the clearing at 18 yards, he was blessed with the power of a 125 grain Magnus Stinger, compliments of my Bowtech Liberty.

I double lunged him and he didn't realize what had hit him. He took a few quick steps and dropped like a rock. Then I dropped like a rock to my knees and thanked God for this trophy he blessed me with.

Hey Tomme, summer sausage is on me okay??!!

Congrats. Great looking deer. 8)

You should thank the muzzleloaders for keeping the deer moving. If that many shots were heard, you can bet the deer kept moving and looking for a quiet spot. And guess who was waiting in the right spot.

Buck fever. Don't leave home without it.
