Default Big THANKS for Adrenalin Archery

I, as a peace officer would like to Thank Daniel Billings with Adrenalin Archery for making the Texas Police Athletic Federations Texas Police Games a success for the Archery Division.
The Police Games were to held in Conroe this year and the events for archery are normally a 300 indoor shoot, a 600 outdoor shoot, and a 3-D shoot. The indoor 300 shoot was set up at Double B Archery in Montgomery, and arrangments for the outdoor shoot was never set. Double B Archery was going to host then a 2 day indoor shoot. Phone calls started coming in that if a outdoor 3-d shoot was not taken place, then a lot of the officers were not going to attend. Of course you know who caught wind of this (H4H) and she started making phone calls. It was a little late in getting a 3-D course close enough without having to drive 100 miles from Conroe. So Dena made the phone call to Daniel. She told him of the TAPF problems and he stepped up to the plate and said that he would be glad to help out. The YMCA in Conroe had plenty of room to set up the 600 and the pop up shoot.
We shot the 300 on Thursday at Double B Archery. That place is nice and has a good selection of bows to choose from. Bob Ragsdale was are host while Tody was out running the streets or something, but I guess work has to come before fun. Toby finally made it in before the end of the day for a little archery fun. Thanks Bob and Toby.
Friday morning found us at the YMCA back pasture with Daniel all set up and waiting for us to come. As usual his set up was awesome. Half of the group shoot the 600 while the other half shot the pop ups. We had a great time as usual, with a few shooter that never shot pop ups before.
There were several LSBA members that were shooting, and I am not going to post the names because I will not get them all so I will leave that up to Dena. I do have to mention that Steve Shedd was there again and I now have his Gone Hunting CD and cannot wait to find a CD player to listen to it. We will have several new LSBA members now from the shoot also.
I know that there are a lot of police officers out there that are LSBA members. The archery division is just hanging in there with the police games. I would like to invite all police officers and fire fighters out to the games next year to be help in South Padre Island. Go to the TPAF website http://www.texaspolicegames.org/inde...tpage&Itemid=1 and look at who all can play. Also, if you are not a police officer, but know one, talk him into going and go as his guest. We can each bring a guest with us. I guess this is long enough.

OH, I am not even going to mention who now has some bling bling to wear around her neck.

Thanks Daniel, we would not have had a archery division without your help. Bob
