Default Fall Fellowship Hunt

Your hunt committee is entertaining ideas for the fall fellowship hunt. We are meeting this weekend to document our guidelines and outline our plan for future hunts. We are considering LIMITED fall hunt for deer and hogs with LSBA memebers ONLY and an additional fee requiring membership to participate for those that are not members. We will be fair but firm to all. Also we want to sponsor a 3D shoot (mini) at this hunt with prizes rather than trophies and would like ideas for prizes as well as volunteers for donations for the raffles....Let us know if you are interested, your ideas and where you can contribute.

We are also looking for a spot to hold a pre-season fellowship tuneup hunt. We'd prefer a ranch that would accomodate 40 plus, which probably means that we need something that's at least 8,000 acres. Alternatively we could hunt two or three smaller ranches if they were in real close proximity, but the first would be preferred.

Timm how much would the hunt be? When?

The hunt committee has currently set up a deer hunt for up to 45 people on the weekend of Oct 15-17 (more on this later). We are looking for a spot to run a pre-season tuneup Ham Slam in mid September.

Just to clarify, this doe hunt is not part of the hunt committee or the LSBA.

I am working on the ranch manager to make it part of the LSBA hunts. I am waiting on a reply now.

Default where is the hunt?

Where is the one on the 4th weekend? I might make it if I do not have youth hunts that weekend.

Stew you resurrected an old thread. Sorry, but I'm so busy I haven't pushed a Fall hunt. I did talk to Brushy Hill tonight about the Spring Grunts and Gobbles Hunt and I was checking to see if there might be some interest in a repeat doe and Spike hunt at Kothe's in Jan.

PM Timm Getts as he might have a hunt going.
