Default Possible hunt.

Hey,

I have been talking with Tomme off and on this week about setting up some hunts, as I am trying to get back on my feet again. Love those pain killers.

Anyway, would anyone have interest in an exotic hunt this summer. I would like to go to one of the fine places that support us like....Bar E, Double L, Hunts, to name a few.

There are no details and I am not sure of availablity at this time, this is just a first feeler to see if there is enough interest to do further work.

If we have some interest in a small fellowship type hunt, I will make some calls.

Let me know if this appeals to you, what you would like to go for (axis, sheep, blackbuck, whatever), and I will make some calls. These animals are not cheap as I am sure you know, but some people out there may be wanting to do such a hunt, but just want a group to do it with. Oh, and I will do everything in my power to talk Buff into coming so there will be some celebrity apeal and maybe a siminar.

Okay, I sent an e-mail to Bar E. Last year I had a great time there inspite of the flood. I did not get to hunt, only support and pay (both of which I am good at). So I want to try them first.

If they get back to me with dates I will post them and we will go from there. They have very nice accomdations and good numbers of blackbuck and sheep. I picked out at least two sheep I would like to have had last time.

If they are all booked, I will try somewhere else. Updates coming. Start cubbying a little money back.

Okay, I heard back from Tina today.

July is open at this time. I kind of wanted to go late Aug or first of Sept because Sika and Redstag are on my list of "want but don't have yet". I know that is late in the year and many are already going or very close to western hunts.

I guess I am waiting now for one person to say.....Mark, lets do this on this weekend, I am sending in a deposit...and we will go from there.

So, if you want to go, pick your weekend and lets start planning. It makes no difference to me, one weekend in July is just like all the others....I carefully plan my fall.

What about a date in early to mid July and what does it cost to hunt Blackbuck?

I would like to go if someone could nail down a date. I was looking at several places and was going to go by myself but it would be nice to meet some others.

I've been wanting to do a blackbuck hunt ever since I started the 3D thing back in '99. Still haven't done it though. Hmmmm...
