Default Tommes 10 point?

Rumor has it that our very own Senior El Pasto Presidente (don't know how to say Past President...lol) arrowed a 10 point Ft. Hood buck with split brow tines this evening and is enroute home as I type.

Congrats Tomme! I know ya been hunting "The Hood" hard and glad to see you early frustrations with lack of deer pay off from all your hard work and long hours in the woods.

Okay....did I suck up enough to earn a bowl of that famous "Tomme Chili"? 8)

Hey!, congrats Tomme!!! Did that "Tomme Musk" finally pay off with those gay bucks out there?!

Awsome job, I'm glad for you. I know you take your hunting pretty serious. Now, I'm gonna have to move down there so you can show me around the 'Hood!

Again, congrats. Can't wait to see the pics.

ok I'll start the rumor mill like most other sites. I heard actually it was a deer that was caught in a fence then a 11 year old girl with a crossbow shot it. Tomme happened on her and before her father could get there, he offered her 20 bucks and a barbie doll in exchange for the buck.

Congrats Tomme!!

What an evening. Had a doe come in at 4:30, leave, then come back. She fed for about an hour in two shooting windows. I was tempted as I needed another deer to fill my chili quota for next year. After an hour this nice buck steps out 85 yards up and comes and chases the doe off of the corn. I prayed for a good shot, and it must have been, he only went 60 steps. No tracking job at all. I stumbled on him coming back from the truck after a 30 minute wait. He's no trophy to anyone but me, but to me he's a real good deer for this area. 14 &7/8s inside, with double brow tines on both sides. 3.5 years old. Not bad for a public hunting lands buck in December.

I guess I'll post a picture, since Tomme seems to have a troubles with the tech thingy at times.

Did you shoot him in the mouth, or was that where he was caught in the barb wire?

Nice buck!

Great job Tomme!!!
As you may know, when a new species of game is taken that the TBBR will create a catagory for it, thus , we now have a "Abnormal Tomme Buck" State record.

State record "Abnormal Tomme Buck"? How do you mean that? Is that for "Abnormal Tomme" - Buck category? or Abnormal Buck by Tomme? Never mind Ron, forget I even asked.

Thanks Spike for putting the picture up. I was doing good to get it to you and Mike in the first place.

And thanks to everyone else. It was one of those perfect evenings. I floated around here all night, reliving the hunt and not wanting the hunt to end.

Congrats on the deer. The split brows make the rack interesting.

That is a heck of a nice deer. Did you have a tripod for the pic or was someone there to help you? Great picture. See, that's why you got be the prez. Your amazing hunting ability and your peculiar physique! (now it is just jealousy!) Congrats again!
