is the 3-d pop up tournament open to the public? it could possibly lead to me being able to drag some of co workers who are not members to it and maybe get them involved in the organization.

Yes, it is. You do not have to be a LSBA member to shoot. Everything, including the Banquet, is open to the general public. The more, the merrier!!
