Default Bowhunting Records

Welcome hunters. Now that the 2018-2019 hunting season has began, I want to wish everyone a successful and safe year. I would like to remind everyone to please enter you trophies into the Texas Bowhunting and Bowfishing Records. Not only do we accept Texas game animals, we also accept small game, exotics, predators, turkey, dove, ducks, and fish. We accept Whitetail Does, and Mule Deer Does also. The WT and MD does are scored by their skull size (length and width) as well as the predators and feral hog. There is also a tush hog entry for those big tusk hogs, which the score is taken by length and width of skull and length of all 4 tushes. Turkeys are scored by gutted weight, and fish are weighed whole with a length and circumference taken. Weights can be taken with a hand held digital scale unless and potential state record, then a certified scale is needed.
Visit the TBBR website at
The Texas Bowhunting and Bowfishing Records is always looking for new scorers to help score these entries. If you already score for another record book such as Boone & Crockett, Pope & Young, Texas Big Game, Record of Exotics, or SCI and would like to score for TBBR, please contact me. TBBR is scored the same as B&C & P&Y, with some differences from ROE and SCI. If interested in becoming a scorer for TBBR, please contact me.
