Nebraska
Hey guys! This is Angie, Ronny's youngest daughter. Apparently I am filling in on his posts since he is in the wild outdoors with no internet! He just wanted to let everyone know that they made it to Nebraska safe-n-sound. I will update yall if anything cool happens (like if he actually shoots a deer this time...shhh...don't tell him I said that!) Anyway, good night and happy hunting!

Angie, Michael asked me to post over here and TBH. If you dont mind I'll just update here instead of starting another thread.
Here's what I got so far.
The cast of Ronny, biggen, tomme, and exit 110 have made it to Nebraska. They spent the better part of the morning scoutin and setting stands. Found some good sites for the next few days, expecting a wind change Wed. and have stands set for that. They got done in time to hunt this afternoon.
So far biggen has had a small buck come by. Michael (exit 110) has seen a few does, and has deer moving in but cant make them out yet. Havent heard from the others.
They are able to get text out, but for some reason cant get pics to send. It might be next week before we have pics, but I'll keep this updated.
Jeff

Angie, thanks for the updates, I like your post a lot better than Ronnys. You are a lot more truthful and funnier than Ronny. Angie and Medic911, we will be looking forward to your updates on the Nebraska crew. Bob

Well Dad was texting me during the evening hunt so I could pass on an update. I'm not sure why he was was texting me when he should have been paying attention. Now I see why he hasn't killed a Nebraska buck yet after all these trips!! But oh well, I kinda felt like I was hunting with him for a little while yesterday, lol. Anyway, when we were talking, he said he had 2 little bucks at 5 yards. Tomme had a big 8 under him, and Brad had a small 6 hanging out. He said there was a big one on a trail camera and that was where he was set up, but there was no sign of him yet. When I asked where all the big uns were, he said they were hiding from him. I asked how come and he said cuz they were scared! They are seeing lots of turkeys. I guess that's it for now. I will update later if I go hunting with him in the morning, lol

Well, between surgeries (I'm a surgical technologist), I got to hunt a little through texts. At 7:26 dad saw a big 8, but it was too far out to get a shot. He has seen lots of activity, several does. He says he'll get it done this year. Got word at 10:08 am that Tomme shot a big doe they wanted me to let yall know about. That's it til the evening hunt!

Thanks for posting that update! I got the same one from Michael and thought I was gonna have to type all that out, so good job :-) I will post if I can tomorrow since I know dad will be texting me. It is hard being at work and trying to sneak a peek at my phone in between cases to see what's hoppin', lol! Man I wish I was there.

Got a text this morning that Michael was sitting in a new stand with a HUGE 10pt at ten yards. Asked him why he was texting instead of shooting? Seems while he was pulling his bow up the up rope broke and the bow fell to the ground. Off came the string... So he was sitting there with a busted bow and a shooter at 10 yards.
Then while texting all this he sends another ( i think I could hear tears through the text) had a big 8pt come in shooting range.
As of right now they have the bow fixed and getting to shoot it. Thanks to Brad and this bow press.
Didnt even here if anything else was seen.
Jeff

Well at least you got a better report than I did. All I got was a text from Ronny(dad) that said "Back in the stands for the morning hunt." Well, I mean, duh! That's what they went there for. I kinda figured they would be hunting! Come on, I want to know if anything good is happening!!
