Matsuri African Safaris Auction~Bidding Closes June 24, 2011 at 5:00 p.m.

Matsuri African Safaris has generously donated two African Safaris to the Lone Star Bowhunters Association. The first one must take place in August, 2011 and the 2nd much take place in September, 2011.

Each hunt includes the following:

7 days of bowhunting, all accommodations, guiding and the following animals:

1 impala
1 warthog
1 wildebeest

These packages are valued at $4,700.00 each.

Hunt on a privately owned hunting ranch of 17500 acres in Limpopo South Africa. Matsuri Safaris has excellent trophy kudu, impala, gemsbok, warthog, waterbuck and wildebeest on the property. All the wild animals are free roaming.

Bids will ONLY be taken by email to denakana@gmail.com. No PMs or Facebook, please. Bidding will end at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2011.

~Important~

Please include in the subject line of your email the hunt (August, 2011 or September, 2011) on which you are bidding and the word BID. In the body of your email, please include again, the hunt on which you are bidding, the bid amount and your name, address and phone number.

Bids will open at $500.00. Again, each hunt is valued at $4,700.00. I will post the highest bids on the two hunts periodically throughout the week and the winner will be notified and announced after 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24th. Payments will need to be made by credit card or Paypal on Friday, June 24th, after the winner is notified and announced. If payment is not made, the hunt will go to the next highest bidder.

We also have a "Buy Now Price" of $2,500.00, for those of you who may want to go ahead and purchase either hunt to make travel arrangements.

First, let me say thanks to Matsuri African Safaris for supporting the LSBA!

Dena,
do you think Matsuri Safaris would substitue the specified animals for different animals at the same cost or let a hunter trade an animal and pay the difference if the price was more? The reason I ask is someone that has been to Africa may have already killed a warthog, wildebeest and impala. If the dollar amount could be used towards different animals, we may get more interest and more bids.

Thats what I figured. I was just hopin you had the inside scoop! Man, thats a heckuva deal, but August is right around the corner.

Dad and I were supposed to go next month, but medical problems, troubles over seas, and other unforeseen circumstances have put our trip on hold. But I REALLY want to go back to Africa!

I was going to bid on both hunts, but just re read the hunt info. One hunt is to be used in Aug and the other cant be used til Sept. If I could get both for Aug, I'd be bidding.
