Default I'm hunting the Hagerman this weekend!

This is only a three day hunt, but I have been scouting this place since I was drawn back in the summer. Gear is ready to go and several stand locations have been picked out. One primary and six back up locations.

I feel like I have done enough home work on this place to see some deer.

Good luck Timm. You've put in a lot of work preparing for this hunt so don't forget to put on your game face  .

Hope you get one of those fabled Hageman monsters.

Segment B runs through today, Monday, 12/1/03. Due to Thanksgiving the segment didn't start until Saturday. I imagine Timm is still out bowhunting.

Well I am back and I had a great time. Saw deer everyday and a really nice P & Y buck. I shot a nice fat doe on Saturday. She weighed over 100 pounds field dressed.

Congrats on your doe! Your hard work and scouting paid off! Too bad the Poper didn't oblige, there is always next year though

Congrats Timm! Lets hear the story on the poper. I got a small buck and a doe this last week but I had to use a rifle to do it. ops: At least it's freezer meat. Look forward to sharing some hunts this year. Now we'll have some meat for the grill! :P

Take care,

Congratulations Timm, and you too Linedawg (even if you did cheat :>) ) Timm I'm beginning to think that any deer off of public lands is a major accomplishment.

Thanks guys. I feel great because all the scouting I did paid off. No feeder to draw the deer. I will certainly be applying for next year.

Timm, maybe we can work it out to hunt the Hagerman together next year. Do you get to camp there or did you make the drive each morning? Congrats again.
