What a trip. We had a great time. It was great to be with Hunter when she took her first turkey.
She has found out that shooting with a gun is a lot easier than with a bow, but she still wants to hunt with bow. Right after she killed her turkey, and we were finishing up the LDP's, a bunny rabbit came hoping out. Right away she was give me my gun daddy. I kindly informed her that she has been trying to get a rabbit with her bow for so long now, that we were not going to ruin that. She agreed, and has been chasing them here at the house. By the end of the trip, Team Hunter and Dad, took first place over Team Ty and Mom. We had even kills, but Team H & D out fished Team T & M by about a dozen fish. They caught only one,
and we caught white bass, blue catfish, and drum. Congrats again, Hunter. Way to Go Girl.
