On this hunt, I was sitting in a blind looking over a mineral lick. My PH Reneir was concerned about the wind, so he burned some cow patties to cover our scent. About an hour into the hunt a nice Kudu bull and some cows came by, but I already had one on the ground so he got to walk.
A little while later, a group of Gemsbok caught us by surprise. I shot the bull at 25yds right in the shoulder. Because of a slight quartering to shot angle and his reaction, the broadhead skipped off his fron legbone and went rearward into his liver. We tracked him thru the afternoon almost 2 miles and found him the next morning.
