Okay I wanted to add something you may not have seen. I got this pic from the 2cool web site. I don't know the hunter....but when I see this pic I always smile. It is one of my favorites.
I can imagine a Peter Hathaway Capstick story of a 300 lb charging boar with tusks popping and brush breaking. The hunter stands fast, he will have only one chance to drop the beast before it is on him! When the smoke clears the angry boar lays piled at the hunters feet.....his plastic gun with the red cap gleaming in the cool morning sun light.
