yes he does! And they are very smooth, no hand shock, and fairly quick.
My son used one his bows (55 lbs. ) and put his arrow completely thru a 500 lbs P&Y bear in Canada.
Best longbow I have shot.

Yes, my oldest son. He knaps beautiful flint heads and has built his own arrow equiped with one of his heads and drove it thru the shoulder of a 200 pound hog with a 55 lb longbow.
