Dear LSBA Member:

It is election time for the 2011-2012 Executive Council of the Lone Star Bowhunters Association. I am attaching the Election Ballot hereto for your use. The LSBA will also be sending the ballot out by regular mail to all members who have not provided an email address. Please complete the ballot and return to the LSBA by January 8, 2011. Your ballots can be returned by email or by regular mail. You must be a current member to vote and your ballot must be signed to count. Family memberships have two votes,but minors are not able to vote.

So's mine, or at least as the famous phrase puts it; "Its in the mail.".

Having been around the organization for a while. I want to point that we have had a heck of an EC the past several years. That's no slam on any other past group, but in order for this organization to function we HAVE to have good people in a lot of spots. If anyone doesn't do their job, from President, to treasurer, to membership to record books, to banquet chair, etc. etc. then the organization get hurt. Thanks to those of you on the outgoing EC for all that you have done for bowhunting in Texas.

Now as for the rest of us, the goal is to get in a new EC that's as good or better. That's going to be tough. The bar has been set high.

We have to get them in to be counted.

It would be nice if those of us running for a position would post a short bio about themselves this way LSBA members will know something on who is running.
