oreo balls

Oreo balls

(the kids will love making this dessert!)

2 packs of Oreos

2 8 oz blocks of cream cheese

1 package of White Almond Bark

Melt Almond Bark per package instructions.

Crush Oreos. Use whatever means available. Blender, Magic Bullet, bulldozer whatever you have! It can take a while to get cookies crushed. The frosting inside the cookies gets a little balled up. THIS IS NO EXCUSE TO LICK THE FROSTING OFF THE OREOS!!!

Once cookies are crushed, mix cookies and cream cheese together. After cookies and cream cheese are mixed together, roll into golfball sized balls. Dip balls into melted Almond Bark. Place dipped balls onto cookie sheet (covered with wax paper) Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes! It's that easy!

Well, the first go round was a burnt almond bark flop. Luckly I only did half the recipe. My little helper who was in charge of melting the almond bark thought it wasn't melting fast enough so turned up the heat and then left me. When I turned around, it was to late, we had a brown almond bark now. We went ahead and finished it out, but it has a burnt taste. Will try again at a later date. Bob
