palmer recurve
I got a palmer recurve last month and it is like shooting a dream.......Besides shooting just talking to mike palmer is like talking to a archery handbook. I know we all have been into our local shops and get conflicting stories on what arrows we should shoot blah blah blah especially since we shoot recurves nobody really knows about recurves at those big shops.......mike is awesome!! i have been shooting since i was 5 i have been lucky to be educAted by some of the best. BUT to hear it straight from the horses mouth was an eye opening experiance.
Mike educated me to a new level..... Palmer recurves rock!!! |
Palmer recurves are great. I have one but have only shot it a few times. It is a little poundage heavy for everyday shooting, but then there are those that could still shoot it on a every day basis. I hear that DoubleJ will be bringing home a Palmer recurve with him from his antelope hunt. Bob

Awesome.
i hope he does some good. I heard there was alot of rain where jack was going. i know he is hunting with fred.....that is another guy who is funny to be around. His trophy room is way to small for all his mounts. |
Congrats on the new Palmer bow.

Welcome and congrats on your Palmer! Never shot one but Bob's is sure a pretty piece of eye kandi! You are also right about a lot of the shops out there don't understand the needs of the traditional archer, but we are lucky in that there are still those that know and will pass that knowledge to us.

S-W-E-E-T deal, Ric! Congrats! Mike has forgotten more about traditional archery and bowhunting then most of us know. I wish you much success with it!
