LSBA Events and 3-D Shoots for 2015
 

The LSBA is starting off 2015 with a full schedule and we need bowhunters and volunteers to help us preserve and promote archery! I am still working out the details on some of the events and 3-D shoots, so check back for updated information! Hope to see you out at one of our many events! NASP State Shoot

March 4th & 5th, 2015

NASP has asked us to participate in their State Shoot again this year. The last several years we have run the practice range, but this year they would like for us to set up a booth and help out with as line judges, etc. Here is some of the info:

I am writing to invite you to assist at the 10th Annual Texas-National Archery in the Schools Program State Tournament and Scholarship Championship. Approximately 1600 of our TX-NASP students will compete at the Bell County Expo Center in Belton on Thursday, March 5, 2015 with set-up and one tournament shooting flight on Wed, March 4th.

Bownanza

The LSBA will be sponsoring Team Nametag at Texasbowhunter.com's Bownanza as we have for the past several years. Member, Bob Wright, has made the nametags since we first began sponsoring this team. Bob will be making the nametags again this year, however, he will not be able to attend Bownanza. He and his family set up the LSBA tents at Bownanza and passed out the nametags throughout the day. It is the first tent that everyone attending Bownanza stops by and it requires several people to run it. This is a great opportunity to meet other Bowhunters from across the state and beyond. It is a great event with lots of food, beverages and fun!!

If we have enough volunteers, they also would like for us to set up the youth archery range. The kids had a lot of fun shooting last year.

There also will be regional get togethers throughout the year, so please check the website.

The LSBA is in desperate need of volunteers to help or coordinate these events, especially the TTHA shows. We introduce approximately 7,500 kids to archery each year.
