apple dumplins
 

Very easy to make and pretty darn tasty too. Don't blame me if your pants start to shrink!!

1 can cresant rolls
2 green apples
1 stick of butter
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbl spoons cinnamon sugar
1 can Sprite

peel and quarter apples
roll out cresant rolls
sprinkle dough w/ cinnamon sugar
roll apple slices up in dough, place in 9X13 dish

In a small pot, melt 1/2 cup sugar, 3 tbl spoons cinnamon sugar and stick of butter. Pour mixture over dumplings. Then pour 1/2 can sprite around edges of pan. (mix other half of sprite w/ 2 shots of Crown Royal and enjoy)
Bake for 30 minutes @350 degrees.

Add a scoop of Blue Bell vanilla ice cream and dig in!

You really got my attention at Crown Royal. Will have to try for sure now.
