We had an awesome hunt. I think everyone saw turkeys and/or pigs. Quite a few of the hunters had opportunities, some made good on them some not so much. The kids seemed to have it down. I believe a 14 year old young man killed a turkey, a 15 year old young lady from Oklahoma killed two pigs (one each evening) and her little sister killed a pig as well (can't remember her age but I think she was 9 or so).
Everyone I talked to said they had a good time. Getting the opportunity to play music with Pete and his band was a big bonus for me. I haven't played music with guys who had that kind of talent in a long, long time. It was a lot of fun. I am already looking forward to the next one.
