Texas Trophy Hunters Extravaganza is coming to Ft. Worth August 19th through 21st. The LSBA will be setting up our Youth Archery Range again this year. Fortunately, the range is indoors with comfortable air conditioning.
Here are the times volunteers are needed:
Friday Aug. 19th – set up time from 9:30 to 3:00 – Youth Archery Range open from 3:00 till 9:00 p.m.
Saturday Aug. 20th – show starts at 9:00 ( would need folks to show up at 8:30 ) and runs till 7:00 p.m.
Sunday Aug 21st - show starts at 10:00 (would need to be there at 9:30) and runs till 5:00 – After 5:00 we break down the range.
Please volunteer about four hours minimum. Then you can have plenty of time to go enjoy the show. Your admission is free for LSBA volunteers.
If you think you can help this year we would love to have you. As always, no kid is ever charged to shoot with us and our goal is to introduce kids to archery and bowhunting by letting them safely fling a few arrows at 3D targets and balloons. You don’t need to be an experienced archery instructor. We’ll show you what to do. It’s easy and fun!
The kids really enjoy the youth shoot and the Ft. Worth TTHA Extravaganza draws thousands of visitors. It a great opportunity to meet new friends and show them what bowhunters are all about. So come help make a difference in a kids life. You’ll be glad you did.
