Default I'm looking for fawns...

Does anyone know of someone that has a doe fawn??? I heard they're supposed to be dropping around this time and I'm currently waiting on a guy to contact me on his deer. Hopefully he can get with us soon so we know when/if his does are going to have some doe fawns.

Well I see you have found your fawn. Neat. Is it going to be a house pet or moving lawn ornament?

I had an uncle in Arkansas who raised a wild fawn or two that he found over the years. That was about 20 years ago. One was a buck who gave him some trouble during the rut. My uncle was lucky the buck did not do serious injury to him one time. The rut was the only time he had any trouble with the bucks.

Where or who did you get the fawn from? A deer farm or ranch? Evidently you found a source. Nice looking little critter.

Well I got it from someone that saw my post either on this forum or the other one that I go to. I'm not sure which it was. But he told me he had 1 more doe that he is going to keep for himself. But he does have information on another breeder if you're interested in buying a fawn. Right now would be the time to get one seeing as they're having them right now if not earlier. My fawn is 10 days old now and yeah she's our pet along w/ our chihuahua and cat. She's staying inside right now until she gets to big to be in here than she's going to stay outside w/ our lil chihuahua. We've been letting her out every now and then to visit our dog so they could get close together and what not. So if you're interested in having a fawn just contact me through this or on my personal email.

Where is your contact for the fawns? In Arkansas? If so, it may be to far for me to drive and pick up. Not sure if the wife would tolerate another mouth to feed either.

Heck, even if the breeder is in Texas, it may be to far to drive. Right now I think it would be neat to have one, but like puppies, they don't stay little and cute for long.

I was under the impression that TPWD has a TTT ban on all out of state deer transfer's...
As of last year no new deer were allowed into the state....they are trying to keep CWD out of our state..

Yes, interstate transport of unregistered animals is illegal last I looked. There is a whole host of breeders here in Texas. Gene Gonzales, Johnny Lambeth, Hal Berdoll, and over 200 others.
