Hopefully I can make it next year.

YES. THE MONEY WILL BE IN EARLY. As a matter of fact if its already set for next year I think I will just send it this week.
If thats what I have to wear to shoot a BOWTECH. Bring it on.
I am 100% sure my Bowtech has never missed at 5 yards and I have never had to walk more than 30 yards to find its Trophy. I hope I didnt offend any body but if I did too bad.

Wow, looks like you guys had a great time as always.

Brad gave up trad because he couldn't hit anything...hummmmmm

What about rns, did he get one of those hogs that were killed?

I see the tradition of the G&G parting solute was in full form.

Next year I am coming back after the concrete pig!

You need to Mark. You're the one that put it on us.

But, I'll be there to make you work for it.

I am surprised Ronny didn't take another turkey. He's usually a pretty safe bet as to whether or not he'll take meat home.

I did see some hogs, but no shoot. I called in 6 birds, and ever one of them hung up on a dang fence. I could see but no shoot. I'll get them next year.

Honeycutt has to be the best sport in the world, to actually put on that shirt and let us snap five or six pictures.

I may have to go with more than one pin for the balloon shoot. Either that or go back to trad gear.

Chunky you don't stand a chance on the concrete pig. Haven't you heard that there's a curse on it?

Tomme, it's only because you won't commit yourself that the curse persists.

...Whether to an institution or traditional archery, I'll leave up to you to decide.

I really enjoyed meeting everyone this weekend- I wish I'd have had more time to participate! I gotta say, I've never seen a better large group of hunters at Brushy Hill- usually a large group means lots of griping and bitching, bit everyone seemed to have a good time and to be happy! Kudos to everyone who attended and, especially, to the organizers!

I was especially impressed with the pit blind that Brad dug! Lemme tell ya folks, digging a 4 foot deep hole with a seat in it at Brushy Hill is no small feat- especially by hand! Rusty and I have been talking about it for years, but we've never had the motivation! If Brad will just move that top pin up, or practice more at 5 YARDS, he'd be slayin' swine!

Someone gave Rusty some wooden game calls and he gave me the predator call- MAN, is that a awesome game call! Does anyone know who made them? I'd like get his contact info so I can buy a few more.

Thanks for such a great weekend y'all! Rusty asked me to tell you the same.

Nick

We've always had a large crowd at the G&G and I've never seen any personal problems try to ruin it. I guess that's one of the big differences between hunting and 3D.

I mean, last year, they even let ME poke fun at my friend Tomme during the balloon shoot. BTW, I think he needs at least 10 pins on his bow. And maybe someone to shoot it for him.
