Billy Leach of Leach Custom Bows has generously donated a custom bow to be auctioned off with all proceeds going to Targeting Cancer for Bobby Minchew and John Glass.
This is the email which I received from Billy detailing the donation:
Each of these bows has a three-point lock up; two pins and one bolt, assuring positive alignment. The Take Down black limb longbow has a “positive grip”, a design which ensures that the draw of the bow will properly set the bow handle with the web of the hand. Each bow comes with a bow stringer, arrow rest, allen wrench, and Flemish bowstring of the bidder’s choice – our bows are constructed with bow tips that will accept any bowstring type.
The bow will be custom made to the specifications of the winning bidder. This means the draw length, draw weight, and bow length are to the customer’s specifications. We will also install brass inserts as we construct the bow at no additional charge. These inserts can, for example, mount a bow quiver that can stay in place while the bow is shot or be removed with quick disconnect bolts.
These additional photographs of more highly customized bows show the quality of my custom bows as well as the options available, including choice of handle and limb lamination materials. The winning bidder is welcome, for an additional fee, to add a variety of options.
Thanks for an awesome donation, Billy!!
Bidding will start at $225.00 and will end on Friday, August 12th, at 6:00 p.m.
Post your bids in this thread. Thanks for supporting the cause!
