LSBA NEEDS MEMBERS!!
During the entire month of December, the Lone Star Bowhunters Association is holding a Membership Drive in an effort to increase our membership numbers. If you want bowhunters to have a strong voice in the Texas outdoors and sportsmen's communities, please join, renew or sign up a new member. If you've be "meaning" to join and just have "not gotten around to doing it", now is the time.
The LSBA will be celebrating our 37th year of preserving and promoting archery in Texas in 2011. We are a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Corporation. In the last several years, our Youth Archery Program has grown and we have introduced approximately 7,500 kids each year to archery. With the help of our sponsors, First Point Bowhunting, Bugscuffle Ranch, Bar E Ranch, Grover Able, Brushy Hills Ranch and Marty "Buff" Thomas, the LSBA has been able to offer several youth hunts per year to our young members who are the future of bowhunting. In addition, the LSBA recently purchased and donated archery equipment to Burleson ISD's National Archery in Schools Program. We hope to be able to do this each year and your membership fees and donations will help us achieve this goal.
As requested by our members for 2011, the LSBA has added additional hunts. A Pheasant hunt and a Bowfishing trip have been added to our annual Spring Fellowship Hunt, Grunts & Gobbles. Check the website frequently, several of our Regional Representatives and Officers plan LSBA Get Togethers, so members and bowhunters can meet up and share food, camaraderie and fellowship.
If you purchase a membership for a friend, a note will be sent out with your membership indicating the purchaser.
