I bought a management hunt for Dean Titsworth's Flat Rock Ranch at the LSBA Banquet. Lisa and I made the trip down there last weekend. Once we arrived Dean told me to shoot any deer that I liked.We had a blast. The ranch is in Rankin Texas, Far west Texas. It is tuff looking country but turned out to be loaded with game. Lisa shot a doe and missed 2 Turkeys. I was covered up with deer and finally shot my best deer ever. Dean was a great host and has a fantastic place to hunt. My under standing is that he plans to sell 4 or 5 hunts next year. If you get a chance to go, you are in for a treat. I was fortunate to get both my shots on film. I had my phone on vibrate in case Lisa shot something. One of my unofficial sons starting texting me and spooked the buck off the first time he passed thru. The Buck walked off but returned just before dark..... He should have stayed gone.
