Default Hagerman qualifer help???

Anyone know of anywere in the waco area where one can shoot a qualifer, I have already contacted the local archery shop and huaco bowmen archery club (something about only being ASA) and neither could help me. We need a shoot anywhere from temple/killeen area up to dallas fort worth.

I would call and ask if you could use a score card from any shoot.

I'm pretty sure that you can use a scorecard from any shoot as long as you have an 80% or better score without scoring the 12s (count 12's as 10's).

Good luck!

thats the problem tinman, the scoring system huaco bowmen use is not the standard IBO 11, 10, 8, 5, 0, its totally different, I think that has to do with the ASA sanctioning. I believe they are members of the NFAA (national field archery association), and TFAA (texas field archery association). Do you have any leads on shoots, I can't seem to find anywhere on the internet that lists them.

ther is a shoot this weekend at collin county bowmen just north of dallas 40 miles and the lsba shoot is in houston at buffalo field.texins archery will be shooting in july as will syracuse archery.the a.s.a.does not mean anything because the highest score you can get on a animal is a 10 so it doesnt matter where the location of the 12 is just go shoot the closest shoot you can and get the tournament dir or range master to sighn and print his or her name and you are good to go.
