Default Memorial Work Yesterday

We made progress yesterday morning on the War Memorial. We moved about 12 yards of concrete from the truck to the form using wheelbarrows and this old many is feeling it this morning. The dedication stone should be in mid March giving the concrete plenty of time to setup good. Once the stones are put in place we will back fill with dirt and add some sod. We are hoping to do the memorial dedication the end of March

Here are some pictures of the work we did yesterday.

KUDOS to you and the others that made that happen. The behind the scenes people don't get enough recognition, that's for sure. Be sure and post pics when it's done! Are you going to have any dignitaries at the dedication?

The you man doing this for his Eagle Scout project is making all the plans for the dedication, so I'm not sure who all will be involved yet.

I do know one thing, I'm sure feeling my age today.

Yes I was really glad the Daytona 500 took so long to get finished yesterday. Gave me a good excuse to just kick back a relax all day.
