Default Any one want to guess an age for this buck

My wife took this photo about two weeks ago on my place near Plantersville. We have been seeing several does and fawns all year long but this is the first buck we have seen in three years out in the open. I have seen several while hunting and a buddy killed a nice deer the first year we had the place. I am trying determine the age of the buck. To me looking at his belly, chest and his back I would think he is a mature buck with a poor rack but the head and the rack look like a young deer to me. Any ideas? Another thing I was curious about is the fact that at least one of our does has triplets this year and maybe two of them do. I have been living and hunting in Texas for 51 years and this is the first time I have ever seen triplets. Any comments?

Since I am not too good with pictures (ie trying to reduce the size of the file) on the computer if anyone would like to try and age this buck please send me your email I will send you the pictures

I am going to have to disagree with my friends here. I think that deer is much older and in decline. I am going to say 6.5 or older. Protein will not help him.
