Default Hunting in LSBA Banquet area?

Hey All,

I am thinking about trying to come down for the LSBA Banquet. If I do I will probably fly into Houston on that Saturday rent a car and drive up and attend the banquet.

I was wondering if there is anywhere in that area that I might be able to get in a hog or exotic hunt? I thought maybe I could hunt Sunday and Monday and fly back home on Tuesday.

Are there any day hunt ranches in that area?

Thanks,
Kevin

I sure hope that you will be able to attend the Banquet!

Matt's Family Orchard is in Tomball, which is about 30 miles from Houston. They have hogs, but not exotics.

Langley Ranch is located in Centerville. Again, only hogs.

Double L Ranch is located in Victoria and has both hogs and exotics. It is about 2 hours from Houston.

I would second the Double L Ranch. might be a little futher than what you may want to drive, but well worth it. Bob

Hunt & Shoot is in Chester, about two hours from Houston. I have hunted at Matt's Family Orchard, it is a nice place for the money.

It all depends on how far you want to drive. Shoot me an email and we can get some specifics as to what you are looking for and I will see what I can find for you.

Hope to see you at the banquet.

Opps. Bullrdr82 is right, Hunt n Shoot is close also and they have both hogs and exotics. You can click on the Hunt and Shoots link for more details. Bob
