Default Hey Ray I got them Going

Wow what a difference a week makes. Putting out water was the trick and now there are deer all over the two feeders with water. First week of the season I had less than 40 pictures on two cameras, this past week I had over 300 on the same cameras. Of those pictures this is the one that caught my eye. Not bad for a 40 acre spread in East Texas.

That's great, Derek! Hope you get one soon. Are you hauling much water in?
I'm leaving for NM a week from Thursday.... sure getting antsy. It is back to being very dry out there and the forecast is for a dry winter. Fortunately there is water up there..... until the wells go dry. Going to be interesting!

I'm hauling 140gal a trip. Got some stocked up now in a 300gal tank, plus there was a little rain last week that almost filled the two 55gal catch barrels. I'm afraid that they are going to empty the troughs at the feeders before I can get back up. I'm thinking on an idea of putting bigger barrels out at the feeders and floats in the troughs so the will refill as needed, but I'm a ways from getting that done.

Good luck in NM, hope you nail that big boy you have been after.
