Well we went, spent more time on the porch watching the rain, and then getting stuck when we were out in the field. Glad for the rain though. Just hope it doesn't do it all hunting season.

No arrows released by me or Payton this weekend. We had a ground blind so we hunted while some stayed at camp. we were hunting a particular deer from our trail cameras.......someone else shot it. Turns out this deer was on a lot of peoples trail Cam. It was a nice 8 point.

Sorry to hear this Charles, hopefully a bigger one will show up.

We hunted Saturday and Sunday at our lease in d'Hanis. Saw plenty, but not the bucks we were after (won't start taking does until 11/2). One of several foxes, that have wreaked havoc on the ranch's quail and turkey poults is now on it's way the taxidermist. The fox, oddly enough, was hunting when he became the hunted.

no luck here either, the buck i was after on trail cam has not shown up, funny how they are on camera everyday until you start hunting them.
