Default ted nugent sad sad sad !

last night 11-11,on the outdoor channel ted nugent shot 2 big hogs at his michigan farm, the first was a boar the second came in with a bunch of coke bottle piglets.he shot her as well, and commenced to tell us he had shot 2 big boars even when he found her he never showed her belly and continued to refer to her as a { he } and a boar i think he should have not aired the program or just admitted he shot a sow.that would have been fine he should not lie and insult folks intelligence in that manner i was a big fan until last night.his stock with me fell alot.

Interesting. I wonder if you can catch the epiosode on MyOutdoorTv.com or not.

I honestly think a man of Ted's stature wouldn't need to lie.

I didnt see it, but I know a lot of people call wild pigs "wild boars" no matter the sex. Maybe he was just using a common term?

I saw the show and you could clearly see her teets and the shoats trailing behind her. He continued to call it a boar and when it came time to show the sow they only showed her head. The first one shot was a boar and they showed the entire body.

On the second hog he said it was a heart shot and it only ran a little and it was dead. But how come the pictures they showed the arrow kept moving in a breathing motion???

X2.

I didn't see it, I don't watch much outdoors TV. I bet he wasn't trying to refer to the sex of the animal...just tryin' to make it sound sexier for TV.

I see no harm in a little creative license as long as it wasn't a wet sow.

I don't even have a problem with him shooting a wet sow. Maybe I'm wrong in my thinking, but hogs are not native wildlife. They're encroachers. Well, that's my viewpoint anyway. Meat's meat.

Maybe you could email him and call him on it? I'm sure he'd enjoy the debate.

Personally I dont care if he calls it a boar or sow. As far as shooting a sow with pigs goes. If those babies are walkin and gruntin they are gonna survive and multiply. Uncle Ted is gonna be Uncle Ted and I am pretty sure you will get a response from him but you aint gonna change him.
