Default new mexico elk and mule deer

Hey everyone,
I am trying to see if there is any interest for elk or mule deer hunts in new mexico. its unit 13. elk tags are usually by draw. mule deer is only allowed if you cvan get permission from a land owner. i know a land owner that has elk tags and will give me permission for mule deer. mule deer is gun or bow. elk are muzzle loader or bow only. if there is any interest let me know. i am getting the final info from the land owner this week.

I got permission from the land owner. the ranch is in the south central part of unit 13. they have a house to stay in. would be hunting approx 120,000 acres for the elk. right now the mule deer hunts are on approx 12000. might be an extra 21000 by the time the season comes. will have the option of hunting on your own or being guided. i will get more details on the ranch and pictures soon.

the price depends on what kind of hunt you want. guided or unguided. just to buy the elk tag is 3750. that wil include your stay at the ranch house. you would have to bring your own food. it is a fully furnished house. nothing fancy. if you want a guided hunt it will be 5000. i am getting an topographical map of the area. going to try and scan it so i can email it to people. these are gauranteed tags. not a draw. the license is not included. have cow elk tags also. the season starts in september. will get the exact dates. i am getting with the land owner again today or tomorrow to get the maps and pictures. these tags are unit wide tags and are bow or muzzle loader only. the mule deer are bow, muzzleloader or rifle. the rifle season is short. wil get the exact dates as soon as i talk to him. if you have any specific questions just ask.

$3750 does not include non resident license, correct? $5000 total for the guided hunt or an additional 5 grand to the $3750?

any mule deer info?

the prices do not included licenses. they are $577 for non resident. the $5000 is for me or another guide to guide you around the property. If you want a guide with multiple years experience elk hunting the price is going to go up. i will be up at the ranch multiple times so i can learn where the elk are moving around and try to locate some good bulls. keep in mind these prices are way below normal for a new mexico hunt because i dont have the years experience hunting there.
the mule deer unguided are 2750. guided muzzleloader 4000. rifle 4500. i am getting the exact dates for the deer and elk today.
