Default Headed to HUnt and Shoot

Brian with Hunt and Shoot donated several Hog hunts to the LSBA... so I'm headed down to hunt his trophy pasture as my way of saying thanks. I really hope to get a boar big enough to mount. I have killed several hundred hogs but never one to go on the wall. I acquired a blister on my middle finger cutting floor tiles last week. I just had to shoot some today just to make sure I hadn't forgot how. It only bled for a little while so I think I'm good to go.

All I can say is WOW!!! Hunt and Shoot is loaded with hogs. I set my double bull up in a corner and watched no less than 30 hogs come to a water hole about 75 yards away. I moved my set up and had a BIG hog come in and dive into the water hole. He was facing me and when he started walking toward me I came to full draw. He kept coming until he was within 10 feet of me. as he started around me I let the arrow slip away. All hell broke loose as he ran a tight half circle and crashed into my blind. I was pleased when I watched to video to discover that I didn't squeal out loud...I thought I squealed like a girl when he hit the blind. I really didn't want him in the blind with me. On the way back in Brian spotted a hog bedded under a brush top and videoed the stalk and shot. I have good video of both and will try to get them posted by Monday night.

Congrats to you Marty. I'm interested in seeing the video.

Brian invited me up to Colorado this next season, I just hope I have enough time to do it.
