Poor Buff (for your amusement)
As most of you guys have read on here, Buff and Trailboss have published their own hunting story books.
Well, Buff was nice enough to send me an autographed copy in the mail. He also sent a check to pay me back for his deposit for the Baker Ranch hunt this fall.
When the book came in the mail, I was sitting on the couch with my daughter Kelby that most of you know, or know of. I excitedly opened it up to have a look.
We read where Buff wrote "Thanks for being a good friend" and the check fell out. Kelby picked it up and with a look of shock said "Buff pays you to be his friend?"
It took all I had to keep from bursting out laughing, but I fought it so I could play it up a little more. "Oh yes", I said "I am such a good buddy people pay me to be their friends, and this check is so much because....well.....you know Buff!" At which point she slugged me in the arm and I cracked up. Too funny.

Dad, I am not sure if it is legal in the state of TX for you to pay for friendship.

That is too funny!! I knew there was something not quite right about y'all's friendship.
BTW--Congrats on the book, Buff!
Now, wouldn't that make a great donation for the LSBA Banquet!
