Default KMHA '08 Openings

Just a quick note here before Christmas, our 2008 season is fully booked with the exception of what I consider the best month available for bowhunting, September. We still have dark of the moon dates open in this month. Anyone interested can visit our website by clicking on the sponsor banner or email me at hunt@kenmoody.com and I will get back to you. Our most popular bowhunting package is still the Superbow Package which includes ten days of hunting and five animals for $4950. You can build the package based on the animals specified for this hunt. Just click on "Superbow Package" at the site to check it out. We also have the "Bushbuster Package" which is an inexpensive seven day hunt for $2950 and includes either a zebra or wildebeest, impala, and warthog. Hope to see some of you in '08. We are also beginning to take bookings for '09 for those that like to plan in advance.

Merry Christmas!

Our first bowhunting client of the year. He hunted a few weeks ago and scored on a very nice 40" gemsbok as well as a nice waterbuck bull and various smaller antelope. An excellent safari for March. I tried to attach a photo of the gemsbok but was told the 1.14 MB byte file was too large for this site

That's great Ken, I have heard a lot of good things about your place. Wish I could help you on your pic. I heard something about you and a hog(?), how did that come out? Bob

Thanks. Yes, I was attacked and hosptilized by a wild boar on 1 May '07. It definately wasn't pleasant. I had three broken bones in my right knee, some minor cuts and bruises, and one major laceration to the back of my thigh which was 8" long and 2" deep. Very close to the femoral artery. That's the one that scared me. Anyway, after seven months I was walking normal and will always have a slight problem with the knee but other than that I am good to go.

Ken, that is great that you are alright from the hog. I have hunted hogs for most of my life with dogs and knives, but now only stick with bow and arrows. We came close on getting cut several times, but managed to get out of the way. Sometimes we sat back and looked to try and find what was bleeding or cut, but lucked out. My only scare that I have to show from a hog type is from a javelina, which is still swollen right now, after about 16 years later. If you would like, send the pic to me at warden4424@yahoo.com and I will see what I can do with the pic. Bob

Thanks but I guess a 40" Gemsbok looks like any other of that size I don't really need to post a photo. Our '08 safari season has been fully booked for some time now and we are booking '09 and even '10 right now. Give us a look if you're interested in bowhunting or rifle hunting Africa.
