Default If you didn't like my last topic...

You might like this one. I have been talking to Cabela's in Buda for no telling how long trying to get us in with them for youth shoots. I got the go ahead today. Now I need a few volunteers. This is no normal sit in the sun for 10 hous youth shoot. This is in their archery department with their equipment & A/C Also they have offered a 20% discount at the end of the day to the members that help. I know it is short notice. This Saturday from 10 to 6..Or maybe 6:30. I will also be offering a free kick to my shin to anyone that I may have offended in my last post.

That is great BAR, I wish we could come up and help but we are doing one already at the Mall of the Mainland in Texas City. A 20% discount at Cabela's and getting to help promote archery in the Great State of TEXAS, you should have all kinds of help. Thanks for helping to promote the LSBA and archery in Texas. Hopefully this will be a great friendship with Cabela's and the LSBA. Bob

This is with crossbows, right?

You mean you finally found somewhere where people can shoot crossbows, well what do you know the first one in the state.

We just finished up at our youth shoot at the Mall of the Mainland in Texas City. Perfect shoot. Most of the kids that shot today have never seen a bow much less shot one. We even had a couple of mothers try and they did real well, and would like to get into shooting bows now. It is funny how some mentioned that their dad bowhunts, but the child has never shot a bow before. Hopefully we have opened the doors for more little bowhunters in Texas. Bob
